Global creative leader with a track record of driving award-winning work for some of the world’s largest brands and securing new business. I’ve led high-performance teams across four regions: Latam, North America, Asia, and MENA.

I’ve worked at some of the most creative agencies during their peak moments.

My journey began in 2004 at Publicis Brazil, during the network’s creative renaissance under David Droga’s global CCO leadership. As a junior creative, I was lucky to create Procter & Gamble’s first Gold Lion, helping the agency become the top-ranked Publicis office at Cannes Lions that year.

I then joined DM9DDB, a creative powerhouse that had already won Cannes Agency of the Year twice. I was hired by CEO Sergio Valente on the very day DM9 won its third title, during the party celebrating Cyber Agency of the Year. In 2009, we won Cannes Agency of the Year again (after drawing a blank in 2008—it was truly epic), marking DM9’s fourth title. From 2005 to 2010, DM9 was a unique place—a hub of incredible talent and clients that defined an era of Brazilian creativity.

In 2010, I moved to the USA, joining Pereira O’Dell in San Francisco as a Creative Director. The agency had immense momentum, winning 3 Cannes Grand Prix and an Emmy. I worked closely with PJ Pereira, learning directly from his creative wisdom. We won several new business pitches, pencils, and Cannes Lions, including a Brand Content Gold Lion for the Snoop Dogg Smokable Book, now archived at Harvard Library.

Returning to Brazil during the FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games economic boom, I joined Africa as a Creative Director, producing major campaigns for brands like Itaú Bank. Africa was named International Agency of the Year by Advertising Age in 2014, with some campaigns I led cited as key reasons. During this time, I also judged the Brand Content & Entertainment category at Cannes Lions.

Later, I received an irresistible invitation to become Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy Brazil, following the agency’s Cannes Agency of the Year win the previous year. I replaced the legendary Anselmo Ramos and worked closely with him and Gastón Bigio, another legend, maintaining high creative standards. My team won multiple pencils and Cannes Lions, including Agency of the Year in Cannes’ Promo Activation category in 2015.

In 2015, I returned to DM9 as CCO—a true honor to lead the agency where I had produced so much work before. Over three years, we won 22 Cannes Lions, including Latin America’s only Integrated Lion for Walmart. We ended 2017 as the second most-awarded agency in the DDB network, just behind Adam & Eve.

Seeking scale and innovation, I joined BBDO China as CCO of BBDO Shanghai, Energy BBDO, and BBDO Live. In China, I led the acquisition of several major accounts, launched Volkswagen’s largest car campaign, grew the agency during the pandemic, and led regional and global work for Alibaba, Pepsi, and Lotus. I was honored to be nominated as Creative Person of the Year in China.

In 2024, I moved to Dubai to lead VML in the UAE alongside Faysal Abdul Malak. Together, we are focused on driving creativity and growth in the region.

I have a genuine passion for exploring new cultures, connecting with different people, and building friendships wherever I go.

Outside of work, I’m a very amateur triathlete and an even more amateur musician, but I’m having fun trying to keep up with both.
